Magdalena Seifert Greenough was the firstborn to Alex and Triny Seifert on October 5, 1942, in Hardin, MT. Raised in Gilroy and attended school here. She married the love of her life, Roy Greenough, on Valentine’s Day, 1964.
She worked as a dental assistant in Gilroy and San Jose and taught at the Concorde Career Institute. After retirement she cared for her mother in Hollister until she had her first of three strokes.
Magdalena passed on December 29, 2012, in Modesto.
She had four children, Barbara Pacheco, Carl Greenough, Joanne Beltran (Richard) and Susan Finister (Johnnie).
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Betty Gorman and brother, Max Seifert. She leaves behind sisters, Mary Manger, Laura Burleson, Theresa Jackson, Lydia Smith, Triny Seifert, Rosie Harmon and a brother Alex Seifert. She also leaves behind grandchildren Amanda Alvarado, Monica Pacheco, Jessica Navarro, Vannessa and Richard Beltran, Christopher Greenough, Avianka Finister and two great-grandchildren Marley and Penelope Alvarado.
