Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man on multiple warrants after a high-speed chase Sunday.

Cameron Bush, 29, was wanted on warrants alleging kidnapping, criminal threats, assault with a deadly weapon and spousal abuse in Monterey and San Benito Counties. He was spotted driving a stolen pickup in Prunedale and led deputies on a high-speed pursuit.

With deputies on his tail, Bush used the truck to ram a gate into an agricultural facility in the area of Tarpey Road and Maher Road. He continued to evade deputies off-road before becoming stuck.

Deputies apprehended him before he could flee on foot, authorities said. No one was injured in the chase.

In addition to the warrants, Bush was arrested on suspicion of reckless evading, vehicle theft, vandalism and possession of stolen property. Deputies also believe he is linked to a number of recent burglaries in North Monterey County.
