Margaret Mary Hall died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004 at the Regional Medical Center of San Jose. She was 88.

She was a lifelong resident of San Benito County who resided in San Juan Bautista and Hollister. She was born in Watsonville and was educated at local schools.

She worked for Tri Valley Growers for more than 24 years and was a member of the Mission San Juan Bautista, Teamsters Local 890 Warehousemen, Helpers of Salinas and Jovenes De Antano, where she met each day to have lunch and visit with her friends.

She enjoyed embroidering, gardening and maintaining her own home.

Due to health reasons, she had just moved to San Jose to be with family.

She is survived by her children and their spouses John D. and Amelia Franco of San Jose, Paula Franco of Antelope, Calif., and Matilda and Charles Lujan of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; grandchildren Pauline and Chuck Lujan, John Franco Jr., Andrew Franco, Rebecca Delarosa, Joseph Franco, Paul Franco, Stephen Franco, and Michael and David Hermosillo; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been made for cremation at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass on Monday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. at the Old Mission San Juan Bautista.

Interment will follow at the family plot in San Juan District Cemetery.
