Max Fisser, 56, passed away at home on Friday, April 26, 2013, after a battle with liver cancer.
He was born on Sept 6, 1956 in Amsterdam, Netherlands and lived in the Bay Area for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Colleen Enright, his children Tiffiny Mitchell, Chris, Daniel, Robert, and Josie Fisser, his grandchildren, Jade and Jaden Fisser, his sisters, Inge Gebing, Connie van de Graff, and Henriette Barclay, and his brothers, Johan Fisser and Humphrey Fisser.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Karel and Marie Fisser, his step-mother Roberta Fisser, and his brothers Elbert and Auri.
Max could fix anything, focusing his career on appliances and computers. He worked for several companies before starting his own business, Fisser Appliance Repair, which he owned for 15 years.
He enjoyed photography and anything on the water, including boating, fishing, and jet! skiing.
He will be remembered for his hats, cigars, colorful sweaters, and big smile.
