Mercedes was born in Denver, CO, but lived most of her life in CA, then in 2003, she moved to Las Vegas. Her biggest job in life was raising her children, but she also enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, and entertaining. She took great joy in caring for her two dogs and had lots of friends. Foremost throughout her life, though, was her dedication to her Catholic faith, and she devoted many hours of service to the church. She leaves behind her husband Dave and their dogs, three siblings, three kids, 10 grandchildren, and many friends. She will be very deeply missed. A memorial service will be held at Sacred Heart Parish in Hollister, CA, at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 10, 2009.
