years old and a native of San Jose.
Michael Anthony Tovar passed away Wednesday, March 9. He was 23 years old and a native of San Jose.
He was the son of Raul and Susan Tovar of Santa Nella; father of Moses Lopez of Gilroy; brother of Raul Tovar Jr. (Christina) of Gilroy and Diana Vergara (Mario) of Los Banos; uncle of Raul Tovar III and Richard Mark Tovar both of Gilroy and Matthew and Sebastian Vergara both of Los Banos. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation will start at 2pm on Sunday, March 13 at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy with a vigil to be held at 5pm. Funeral Services will begin at 9am on Monday, March 14 at the funeral home. It will then proceed to St. Mary’s Church for Mass at 10am. Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
Michael was a graduate of Gilroy High School. He had a big heart and he will always be remembered by many family and friends.
