Michaela Mary “Albaran” McCoy passed away Monday evening at the age of 85 at the John Muir Concord Campus Hospital. She was born and raised in Hollister, having moved to San Leandro in 1948. She was a member of the U.B.E. Spanish Lodge and she was the wife of the late Homer McCoy who died in 1996. She was the mother of Anna Salaices, husband, Fred, of Concord, grandmother of Dawn O’Connor, husband, Gavin, and Michelle Jobe, husband, Gabriel, all of Concord, great-grandmother of Jordan, Gabriela, Austin, Blake and Lucianna. She is also survived by a brother, Joe Albarran of Salinas.

Friends may visit at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 P.M., until 7 P.M. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11 A.M. in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services and burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Hollister.
