Nancy Dew, 68, died August 20, 2012, at her home in Gilroy, CA. A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 25th, 20123, at 10:30 A.M. at South Valley Community Church in Gilroy.
Nancy knew at an early age that she wanted to be a beautician. Because she loved helping others look their best, she continued to cut hair for friends and family long after her 45 year career as a professional hairstylist.
In 2006 Nancy and her husband Jim came to Gilroy to help care for their grandchildren. As an active member of Church of the Valley, Nancy was immersed in service to God through Bible Study Fellowship and
Celebrate Recovery. Her passions included family, gardening, needlework, spending time with people, and making new friends.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jim Dew; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Eric Taggart; son and daughter-in-law James and Gina Dew; and three grandchildren, Alicia, Dylan, and Mitchell.
