The suspect accused of a stabbing homicide at a Hollister cemetery in March 2011 has pleaded not guilty.

One of the two suspects in the alleged Christmas theft of copper wire from a Pacific Gas & Electric facility in Hollister failed to appear at a trial setting Thursday and had a warrant issued for his arrest, according to court records.

Calling her a thief and a criminal, Judge Ariadne Symons sentenced a former real estate broker to eight years in custody on 15 charges of embezzlement and passing bad checks.
