Hollister police released more information about the Monday robbery at Rabobank, including revelations about a third suspect who had been waiting in a getaway car. 

On Aug. 16, Hollister Police officers responded to Evelyns Drive on a call of a man allegedly making terrorist threats seen outside the victim’s home. Police arrived and contacted Anthony Fink, 18. He was found in possession of a loaded firearm and arrested on numerous felony charges. Fink was booked into the San Benito County Jail on violations of possessing a loaded firearm with the intent to commit a felony, carrying a concealed loaded firearm, carrying a loaded firearm in a public place and making terrorist threats.

Hollister police and Hollister School District officials placed a local school on lockdown Thursday morning after a 48-year-old male with a felony warrant was suspected of calling Calaveras School and asking that his children be released to him.

A drug investigation on the Hollister High School campus led to the discovery of a student in possession of a loaded firearm on Sept. 14.  The school was placed on lockdown while law enforcement officials searched the campus. There is no longer a threat to...

A Ford Escape SUV flipped onto its roof in downtown Hollister after it was apparently broadsided by a Chrysler 300M around 10:30 a.m. this morning at Fourth and East streets, one block east of San Benito Street.

Hollister officials say that a new policy is working well that calls for a police captain to pay 5 cents per mile for use of a city patrol car he uses on a daily commute with a round trip of around 100 miles.

Hollister Interim Police Chief David Westrick said Friday that the police department, San Benito County Sheriff's Office and San Benito Probation Department were working together to investigate three Wednesday shootings that may be related.
