POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Abraham Amaya, 19, of 1850 Hillcrest Road, Apt. 18, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, a felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and falsely identifying himself to a peace officer, a misdemeanor, when Unified Narcotics Enforcement Team (UNET) agents conducted a probation search of the residence at 5:07 p.m. Tuesday. UNET agents searched the home because Amaya's brother, who is incarcerated in the Santa Clara County Jail for burglary, indicated he had guns and money hidden in the apartment.
