There was a house fire in Aromas on Wednesday, while none of the occupants were injured, according to a statement from Calfire.

The report came through at 3:15 p.m. for a fire in the 200 block of Marcus Street in Aromas. The Aromas Tri County Fire Department, contracted through Calfire, responded with help from the Pajaro Valley Fire Department and North Monterey County Fire Department.

Firefighters arrived to a 1,200-foot structure that was well involved, according to Calfire. They fought the fire and protected nearby vegetation and a recreational vehicle. The residents were out of the home when firefighters arrived.

The cause is under investigation.

There were no other details available immediately.
