Group painting at the San Benito Olive Festival

The fourth annual San Benito Olive Festival is set to take place Saturday, October 14 at the scenic Brigantino Park in Hollister.

Attendees can get into the spirit of celebrating the local harvest, culinary delights, artisans and community at the event. Award-winning olive oils, artisanal foods and gourmet chocolates will be available to sample and purchase. A special VIP tasting area is expected to feature regional, world-class wines and craft beers. Celebrity chefs will perform cooking demonstrations for guests. There will also be chances to paint, craft olive wreaths, build scarecrows and make flower bouquets. Live music will craft a backdrop as festival goers browse a variety of hand-crafted products.

The celebration is a one-day culinary festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Early bird tickets are now available at a discounted price in Hollister at Postal Graphics (1760 Airline Highway) and San Benito Bene (615 B San Benito Street).
