Caltrans is set to close a southbound lane on U.S. Highway 101 Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

The right lane of southbound Highway 101 will be closed at Dunbarton Road, one mile south of the San Juan Road interchange near Prunedale. The lane will be closed Tuesday, July 25 and Wednesday, July 26 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. for tree removal.

According to a Caltrans press release dated Friday, July 21, the work will remove trees damaged from recent storms. Electronic signs will be established to alert drivers of the closure. California Highway Patrol will assist with traffic control. Expect delays not to exceed 30 minutes.
