 Patricia C. Trinchero, born April, 2nd, 1950 to Michael and Jean Bardon, passed away peacefully at her home on February 28, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. She was 62 years young. She was born in Westport, NY and moved to Gilroy, California where she was married to John Trinchero and raised a family of three boys, William, Christopher, and Andy. Patricia or “Granny” was a devoted mother and grandmother of three grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren were her passion and she was an advocate for their educational goals and dreams.

 Throughout her years in pharmaceuticals research and animal sciences, Patricia helped develop many new drugs that enriched and saved countless lives throughout the world. Within the animal sciences research community, she helped develop new and innovation means for more effective and efficient drug trials. She was a brilliant scientist and intellectual. Her zeal for hard work was contagious.

 Patricia loved to travel, spoke many different languages, and was an accomplished chef winning several major cook-off awards and was published in numerous cook books. She was also a member of the Italian Catholic Federation and participated in many different charities for Cancer research and mental illness programs.

 Patricia is survived by her husband of 30 years, John Trinchero, her brother Michael Bardon, and her two children, Chris Scheefer of Houston, Texas and Andrew Trinchero of Gilroy; three grandchildren: Bliss Scheefer, Laci Scheefer, and Cade Scheefer also residing in Texas.
