MOTORCYCLE THEFT:

Unknown suspects stole a silver Honda CBR motorcycle from a residence in the 300 block of Graf Road sometime between Thursday and Monday, police said.

BURGLARY:

Unknown suspects broke into the snack bar at San Benito High School sometime between Nov. 23 and Nov. 28, ripped off the door of a vending machine and stole $150 worth of chips, soda, snacks and candy bars, police said.

Unknown suspects stole $1,000 in cash sometime between Friday and Monday from an apartment in the 1400 block of Gabilan Drive that was left unlocked, police said.

Unknown suspects broke a window of a blue Jeep Cherokee parked in the 200 block of McCarthy St. sometime between Monday and Tuesday and stole tools worth $400, police said.

UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS:

Victor Manuel Gutierrez, 29, of 1156 San Benito St. #15 in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police at his residence at 3:13pm on Monday for being under the influence of a controlled substance and resisting arrest, misdemeanors, police said. Gutierrez locked himself in a room, but finally came out without incident and was taken into custody, police said.

POSSESSION OF A SUBSTANCE WITH INTENT TO MANUFACTURE DRUGS:

Jose Garcia, 19, of 1320 Ramona Ave. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of 192 pills of Sudafed with an intent to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of stolen property, felonies, in the 1000 block of Sunset Drive at 3:45pm on Tuesday, police said. The pills were still in their packets and police said Garcia made a statement that led the officer to believe they were not being used for personal use and that they were stolen.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:

Eduardo Martinez, 18, who lives in the 900 block of Verdun Ave. in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on Carousel Drive for driving under the influence of marijuana, a misdemeanor, at 12:13am on Wednesday, police said.

WARRANT ARREST:

Carlos Cesar Sanchez, 22, of 421 Recht St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for a misdemeanor battery warrant in the 1000 block of Sunset Drive at 3:45pm on Tuesday, police said.

CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON:

Joseph Azevedo, 20, of 641 Central Ave. in Hollister, and Albert Anthony Munoz, 23, of 1038 Monterey St. in Hollister, were arrested by sheriff’s deputies for carrying a loaded, concealed weapon in a vehicle and being a felon in possession of a firearm, felonies, in the 2700 block of Buena Vista Road at 11:11pm on Wednesday, police said. Deputies pulled the car over for a traffic stop and found a loaded 9mm pistol partially hidden under the right-front passenger seat, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
