SHOOTING:

Police found a bullet hole lodged in a wall on the west side of Rancho San Justo Middle School at 8am on Wednesday, but could not locate a bullet and don’t know when it happened or have any suspects, police said.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:

Diana Jones, 47, of 1097 Line St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence of heroin, a misdemeanor, and possession of heroin and valium without a prescription, a felony, after she pulled over for driving erratically on Westside Boulevard and Fourth Street at 1:59pm on Wednesday, police said. Jones was arrested for felony driving under the influence of heroin last year when she collided head-on with a motorist on Highway 156, sending the woman to the hospital with massive head trauma, according to police.

Amanda Weaver, 31, of 650 El Toro Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police in the 100 block of San Benito Street at 5:40pm on Wednesday for driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor, and child endangerment, a felony, because she had a 5-year-old child in the car, police said.

BURGLARY:

Unknown suspects stole $15,060 worth of furniture and stereo equipment from a residence in the 100 block of San Felipe Road sometime between April 14 and April 28, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
