DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:

Jacob Larez, 18, of Edwards, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 400 block of Nash Road at 1:45am on Tuesday, police said.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:

Casey Cully, 39, of Modesto, was arrested by Hollister police in the 800 block of Powell Street at 6am on Tuesday for domestic violence and robbery, felonies, after he allegedly pushed a woman he used to have a relationship with and stole her purse, police said.

BURGLARY:

Ralph Lerma, 32, of 1071 Wood Ct. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police at 5:30pm on Tuesday for burglary, a felony, after he broke into the home of a woman he knew but didn’t steal anything, police said. The woman returned to her home in the 200 block of Gibson Drive and found her sliding glass door open and neighbors identified Lerma, police said.

BATTERY TO A POLICE OFFICER:

Sean Elliot, 25, of Chico, was arrested by Hollister police for battery to a police officer causing injury, a felony, and being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, after he punched a police officer in the back of the head and he fell to the ground, injuring his knee, during a bar fight at the Hollister Family Bowl at 10:59pm on Tuesday, police said.

BATTERY:

Gilbert Munoz, 53, and Juan Munoz, 24, of 1391 Buena Vista Rd. in Hollister, and Manuel Valdez, 27, of Salinas, were arrested by Hollister police for battery and being drunk in public, misdemeanors, at 10:59pm on Tuesday after getting into a bar fight at the Hollister Family Bowl, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
