THREATS:

Michael Britt, 20, of 930 Argonne Ave. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police at 9:50am on Monday for threats and brandishing kitchen knives, felonies, after he threatened to kill his neighbor with the knives and then locked himself in his home for 40 minutes until police finally talked him out, police said. Britt threatened to kill police before being coaxed out of his home with the promise of using a cell phone and then arrested, police said.

ROBBERY:

Two unknown males robbed a clerk at gun point at a gas station in the 1600 block of San Juan Road around 11:30pm on Friday, police said. Both males were approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, wearing black clothing with black gloves and ski-masks hiding their faces and fled the store on bicycles, police said. One of them was holding a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. Police do not have any suspects at this time.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY:

Jennifer Castillo, 33, of Gilroy, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of stolen property, a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, during a traffic stop at Meridian Street and Memorial Drive at 8:51pm on Sunday, police said. Officers found a stolen $1,000 saxophone and a methamphetamine-smoking pipe, police said.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:

Travis Weiler, 24, of 1520 Brighton Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for domestic violence, a felony, after he allegedly picked up and threw a woman on the floor, causing a bump to her head, in the 1500 block of Brighton Drive at 10am on Sunday, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
