SHOOTING:

Michael Clark, 49, of 100 Hillside Road in San Juan Bautista, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies for threatening to kill his son, being a felon in possession of a firearm and discharging a firearm in a grossly negligent manner, felonies, along with battery and resisting arrest, misdemeanors, around 4:30am on Wednesday, according to police. Clark had a dispute with his son, which escalated into a physical altercation. After his son ran from the house Clark got a loaded handgun, followed his son out of the residence and fired one round into the air, according to police. Sheriff’s deputies responded, forced entry into the house and took Clark into custody, according to police. He was booked into the San Benito County Jail around 6:30am Wednesday.

GRAND THEFT:

Unknown suspects stole a $500 bicycle from the front of a residence in the 1100 block of Crescent Lane in Hollister sometime between Wednesday and Thursday, police said.

ROBBERY:

An unknown juvenile pushed an 11-year-old Hollister boy off his bicycle and stole it as he was riding it in the 500 block of Tres Pinos Road around 1:30pm on Thursday, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
