BURGLARY: Unknown suspects broke into a gray 1976 Dodge Ram on the 600 block of Walnut Lane sometime between 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 1 p.m. on Wednesday, and stole $100 worth of stereo equipment, police said.
POSSESSION DANGEROUS WEAPON: Noel David Garcia, of 1575 Valley View Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for carrying a concealed screwdriver, a felony, and possession a marijuana pipe, a misdemeanor, in the 100 block of Rustic Street at 10:52 p.m. on Wednesday.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Matt Edward Amdur, 23, who lives in the 200 block of Holland Cr. in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, at Cienega and Union roads at 2:17 a.m. on Wednesday.
BATTERY: Christopher Giovanni Maccants, 20, of 690 Vine St. in San Jose, was arrested by Hollister police at San Benito and Third streets at 3 a.m. on Tuesday for battery, a misdemeanor, after he allegedly hit a female after they got in an argument, police said.
