DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:
Carlos Moreno Barron, 34, of Palo Alto, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence and driving without a license, misdemeanors, on San Felipe Road, north of Highway 156, at 5:52pm on Sunday.
Dana Joseph Smith, 43, who lives in the 1300 block of Scenic Cir. in Hollister, was arrested by the CHP for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, on Highway 129, west of Highway 101 at 9:25pm on Sunday.
Mauro Reyes Figueroa, 25, who lives in the 100 block of El Toro Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by the CHP for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, at Fairview and Sunnyslope roads at 2:18am on Saturday.
Jesus Lopez, 22, of 669 Fifth St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, at 9:30am on Westside Boulevard on Saturday.
DRUG POSSESSION:
Leon Pete Vasquez, 24, of 1390 Line St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of 3.49 grams of methamphetamine, a felony, in the 900 block of Del Rio Drive at 3am on Saturday, police said.
BURGLARY:
Angelique Maldonado, 18, of 778 Fourth St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for burglary, a felony, after police found her trying to break into a car in the 700 block of West Street at 11am on Saturday, police said. It was Maldonado’s third arrest in two weeks for auto burglary, police said.
THEFT:
Unknown suspects stole a $50 stereo and some computer discs out of an unlocked car in the 30 block of Hawkins Street around 4:30pm on Saturday.
FELONY WARRANTS:
Tomas Martinez Jr., 25, of 1560 Valley View Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for felony warrants for burglary, receiving stolen property, passing fictitious checks and conspiracy, at his place of employment in the 700 block of Sally Street at 1:53pm on Saturday, police said.
All persons named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
