THEFT:
Unknown suspects stole a 5-week-old pure bred Chinese Pug worth about $1,000 from Pet World, located in the 400 block of McCray Street in Hollister around 12:55pm on Thursday, police said.
Unknown suspects broke into two cars parked in the 200 block of Holland Circle around 2:30pm on Thursday and stole remote controls for two garage doors, police said.
DRUG USE:
Chase William Rogers, 21, of 2160 Las Viboras Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, at 3:40am in the 1700 block of Airline Highway on Wednesday, police said.
Michael Baker, 23, of 1300 Matador Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic needle, misdemeanors, and possession of Vicodin without a prescription and probation violation, felonies, in the 100 block of Fourth Street at 1am on Tuesday, police said.
Yvonne Baker, 21, of 1300 Matador Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a pipe and possession of marijuana, misdemeanors, in the 100 block of Fourth Street at 1am on Tuesday, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
