Embezzlement:
Vanessa Geronimo, 22, of the 1500 block of Cembellin Drive in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of embezzlement, a felony, and burglary, a felony, at 12:52pm Thursday, police said. Geronimo worked at Target and stole $1,500 in Target gift cards, using them at the Hollister and Gilroy locations to make purchases, police said.
Vehicle Theft:
Alberto Deleon-Gonzalez, 20, of Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of vehicle theft, a felony; damaging a phone line, a felony; false imprisonment, a felony; and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, after Deleon-Gonzalez locked a woman in a room, ripped a phone line from the wall and stole her car at 12:40pm Thursday, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
