CRIMINAL REPORTS

Burglary, Hickory Court

Police took a report Dec. 30 from a woman who was missing 20 sets of sterling silver silverware from her home on the 600 block of Hickory Drive. The victim reported that she had hired a man in October to build an awning for her in the backyard, and that she had provided him with a key to the home. She became suspicious of the man after she “had a dream that made her stop trusting the suspect,” police said, then searched her home and found that she was missing the silverware.

Assault with a deadly weapon, La Baig Drive

At 3:42 p.m. last Friday a victim reported to police that he was “jumped” by unknown suspects somewhere on La Baig Drive and suffered a broken collarbone. No suspect information is available.

Battery, Caputo Court

At 11:30 p.m. Friday, police took a report from an elderly female Hollister resident who alleged she was the victim of battery in her home on the 1000 block of Caputo Court. The victim told police she lives with another female who allows her boyfriend to sleep over. The victim had a dispute with the boyfriend and she asked him to leave. He instead went to the restroom followed by the victim and he attempted to close the door, pinning her arm between the door and door jamb. Police arrived, issued the suspect a citation and advised him to leave, which he did.
