CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS
Vehicle theft, Tres Pinos Road
Sometime between 8:15 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, a vehicle was stolen from the Taco Bell parking lot on the 300 block of Tres Pinos Road. No suspect information was available.
Attempted murder, Haydon Street
A call came into police that there was a fight with multiple subjects on the 300 block of Haydon Street at 7:02 p.m. on Saturday. A little while later, police received a call from the hospital that someone had been shot, and they tied that victim to the fight. Multiple shots were fired and the victim was hit once. The suspects fled the scene and are still at large. Police said that the incident is still under investigation.
Grand theft, Powell Street
At 6:54 a.m. on Saturday, police received a report that stereo equipment was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 1000 block of Powell Street. No suspect information was available.
Theft of utility service, Suiter Street
At 3:34 p.m. on Friday, Charter Communications filed a report with police regarding a 72-year-old Hollister man pirating cable service. The suspect was not arrested but police said the case was probably referred to the district attorney’s office.
Fighting in public, San Benito Street
At 11:16 a.m. on Thursday, a female suspect was reported causing a disturbance at the Bank of America branch on the 300 block of San Benito Street. Police responded to the disturbance over bank fees and upon arrival, the suspect slapped officers hands away from her. She was cited for fighting in public and was released.
