The rear left tire of a car was slashed in the 400 block of McCray Street in Hollister sometime on May 19, police said. There are no suspects.
Theft
A laptop computer worth $1,000 was stolen from a garage in the 1200 block of Monterey Street sometime during the day on May 19, police said. There are no suspects.
ARRESTS
Theft
Ronald Wormuth, 48, of 974 Spring Grove Road in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister Police for petty theft with a prior theft conviction, a felony, after allegedly stealing a bottle of vodka and a canister of frozen orange juice from Safeway in Hollister at 2:37pm May 22, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
