Threats with intent to terrorize, Monterey and Fifth Streets

At 11:26 a.m. Wednesday in front of the San Benito Courthouse, a victim made a complaint against a suspect who “made certain statements to her that made her fear for her safety,” according to police reports. Both the individuals are employees at Safeway and were at the courthouse to testify on an unspecified matter.

Reckless driving, Fourth Street

Police cited and released an individual at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday after they stopped him for speeding through Hollister Drive Inn Market in the 800 block of Fourth Street. The suspect came close to striking an employee according to police reports.

Exhibition of speed, Fifth and San Benito streets

Police impounded a vehicle after its owner unlawfully exhibited speed at the corner of Fifth and San Benito streets at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday. The driver was cited for reckless driving.

Violation of civil rights, Graf and San Juan roads

Police have no leads or suspects in a case where, at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, suspects in a red truck made aggressive and discriminatory statements and then threw a cup of unknown liquid into a victim’s car. The incident took place at the intersection of Graf and San Juan Roads.
