Fight, Meridian Street
At 11:15 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to the 900 block of
Meridian Street after three kids were fighting over gang
affiliation. The three juveniles agreed to fight at Marguerite Maze
Elementary School over a disagreement between rival gangs. School
officials were able to stop the fight and call police. Two of the
kids were 14 and the third was 12. The students were cited and
given to their parents.

At 11:15 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to the 900 block of Meridian Street after three kids were fighting over gang affiliation. The three juveniles agreed to fight at Marguerite Maze Elementary School over a disagreement between rival gangs. School officials were able to stop the fight and call police. Two of the kids were 14 and the third was 12. The students were cited and given to their parents.

Disorderly Conduct, Swope Alley

Just after 7 p.m. Thursday, when officers were responded to a reported fight near the 300 block of Swope Alley, they found a man hiding from police after he urinated on himself. The man was drunk and couldn’t walk straight but when officers went into the area he tried to hide. Officers found him and took him into custody.

Possession, Pear Tree Lane

Around 3 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 100 block of Pear Tree Lance after reports of a loud party. When searching for the party, officers saw three underage adults walking on the sidewalk. One 19-year-old person was carrying an open can of beer. Officers wrote a citation for the person because of the open container but the suspect refused to sign the document. After refusing to sign the citation, officers placed the man under arrest.

Burglary, Airline Highway

At 2 p.m. Saturday at Target, officers responded after a pair of women tried to cash fake travelers checks. Target security cameras caught the two women flee the store and were able to observe their vehicle’s license plates. Officers caught the women on Airline Highway entering Tres Pinos. Officers placed the two women under arrest.

Theft, Joshua Drive

Officers reported a vehicle break-in that took place sometime between 7 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Joshua Drive. The reporting party left his wallet and some credit cards in the glove box of his vehicle overnight. When he returned to his vehicle in the morning they were missing. Also missing was a cell phone charger and $20. Police are still investigating.
