A 14-year-old Hollister youth, whose name was not released because of his age, is being held in San Benito County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of stabbing an 18-year-old, whose name was not released by police.

The victim was taken to Hazel Hawkins Hospital where he was reportedly treated for two stab wounds and later released, police said.

Police said all that is known about the stabbing so far is that at approximately 9:27 p.m. Friday the victim and the youth were involved in a scuffle in a parking lot near Premiere Cinemas. During the fight, the youth allegedly stabbed the victim twice, inflicting non-life-threatening wounds.

Someone at the theater reportedly called police after the incident, police said.
