This is a picture of one suspect in the Hollister cases.

The Wiebe Motel and Cinderella Motel were both robbed in recent days – resulting in a clerk being stabbed and flown to a hospital – and police believe the two incidents might have been related.

The first robbery occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday at the Wiebe Motel, 1271 San Felipe Road, according to police. Two Hispanic males, one armed with a rifle, entered and demanded money. The clerk gave them money before they forced the worker to the store and left in a vehicle.

Then at 10:20 p.m. Saturday, two Hispanic males entered the Cinderella Motel at 110 San Felipe Road. One was armed with a knife, jumped over the counter and demanded money, according to police. The female motel clerk refused the demand and was stabbed once in her side, along with getting injured in the hand. She was flown to a Bay Area hospital for treatment, while her condition is unclear.

In both crimes, one of the suspects was described as having a goatee. Police noted that with the similarities, it is possible the crimes are related.

Police released the following descriptions of the suspects:

In the first robbery: “The armed suspect was described as being a Hispanic male in his mid to late twenties. The suspect holding the rifle had a goatee and was wearing a long-sleeved green shirt. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult wearing a beige shirt and in his mid to late twenties,” according to police.

In the second robbery: “The suspects fled the area prior to the police response. The suspects are described as Hispanic male adults in their twenties. Both were wearing grey sweatshirts. One of the suspects (pictured) had a goatee. The suspects are still outstanding,” according to police.
