Anzar High athletic director/coach Tracy Carpenter, seen here when he was the coach of the San Benito High boys basketball team in 2011, has started what he hopes will be an annual alumni basketball game at the San Juan Bautista school.

Anzar High is hosting what is believed to be its first-ever alumni basketball game on Dec. 20. The current girls and boys teams will play their alumni counterparts, with the girls game starting at 1 p.m. and the boys slated for tipoff at 2:30.
