Ralph S. Lerma passed away in Santa Clara at the age of 37. He was born in Watsonville and lived all of his life in Hollister. He liked throwing darts, listening to music, playing pool and camping with his family. He was a former dancer for Johnny O, enjoyed barbecuing, working on the computer and stereos and a very loyal Raider fan. He graduated from San Benito High School and attended Healds Business College and was attending Institute Business Technology.

He is survived by his children, Lynaya, Aaliyah, Shaniyah and Isaiah Lerma all of Hollister, his mother, Barbara Lerma of Hollister, his grandmother, Lupe Leon, his aunts and uncles, Kathy and Ed Parra, Jesse and Cheryl Leon, George and Mary Leon, Lorraine and Don Desrosiers, his cousins, Greg and Michelle Pasillas, Donnie Guttirez III, Donnie Guttirez IV, Valerie and Angelica Guttirez, Joseph and Jonathan Parra, Stefanie and Michael Leon, Shannon, Tessa and Kristen Leon and numerous other cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Lerma, his grandparents, Paul Leon and Dolores Lerma and his uncle, Paul Leon.

Friends can pay their respects on Friday, April 30, 2010, from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. at Calvary Cemetery.
