Jim was cremated and the family will have a “celebration of life” sometime in the future. Condolences can be made at www.habingfamilyfuneralhome.com.
“God said He was getting tired and a cure was not to be. He put his arms around him and whispered ‘come with me’. With tearful eyes we watched him suffer and saw him fade away, although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.”
Jim leaves his wife, Jan of 48 years, son, Leonard, daughter, Barbara (Johon), and grandsons, Matthew and Timothy.
Jim worked for the S.C.V.W.D. for almost 48 years and retired in 2008.
