Rena D. Nunez went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2012, at her home in Hollister. Rena was born on July 10, 1941 in Hollister where she lived most of her life.
Rena was preceded in death by her mother Helen Salazar who passed away in December of 2007.
She is survived by her husband William “Bill” Nunez of Hollister, her five children, Debby Mabe and George Nunez of Salinas, Philip and Roberta Nunez of Hollister, and Cy Nunez also of Salinas, her brother Robert Quejada and sister Nancy Atkins both of Hollister. Rena also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.
