while sleeping in bed after rounds had been fired into two homes,
according to police.

Police responded around midnight Friday to the 200 block of Elmore Alley. They found one person with a gunshot wound to the upper leg and foot, according to a statement.
The victim had been sleeping and was treated by local responders before getting flown to a Bay Area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police believe the suspect or suspects approached on foot and fired at two homes from close range, and they they fled, possibly in a dark green or gray Honda Accord, according to police. It is being investigated as gang related.
