Ricardo Jacob Medellin came into this world on April 2, 1984, and peacefully entered into rest on April 7, 2010. He is survived by his father Richard Medellin, brothers Richard Jr. and Paul Medellin and Samuel Powell. To his family he was Ricky and Rick to his friends, but loved to us all. Born in Gilroy and raised in both Morgan Hill and San Martin,
Ricky had shyness to his character, while at the same time this loving, huge heart. He was a young man of respectful ways, honoring gestures and handsome looks. Ricky enjoyed the company of friends and family, especially those days of just “kicking back”, playing a friendly game of poker or even boating out on the lake. Those simple things in life is what brought happiness and joy to his life which he shared with all of those around him, unconditionally. A life we will celebrate and never forget through memories from: grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, friends, brothers and his father.
In honor of Ricky, a vigil service will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 6:30 P.M., Johnson Funeral Home, Morgan Hill. Public viewing from 4:00-8:00 P.M.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, 10:00 A.M. at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 17400 Peak Avenue and immediately taken to his final resting place at Mount Hope Memorial Park,Spring St. at Barnell St. in Morgan Hill.
