Robert was born in Upland, California to Andres and Isabel Nuno. After graduating from Santa Clara High School, he enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Panama. He loved his country, our troops and all veterans. Robert was a loyal member of Alcoholics Anonymous for twenty seven years. He had his own business, Robert Nuno Tile Co. He loved cutting wood, hunting, fishing, his Yreka property and exaggerating. He and his stories will be greatly missed. He lived life to the fullest and never let the grass grow under his feet. There will never be another like him.

He was survived by his loving wife Diane of 50 years, his sons David (Ann), Michael (Susan) and daughter Heidi. He had seven grandchildren and was a special uncle (Ra-Ra), brother, brother-in-law and friend.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
