Robert E. Bryan died suddenly on Aug. 26, 2004 at his home in
Morgan Hill. He was 93 years old.

A native of California, he lived in Hollister since the 1940s until moving to Morgan Hill Assisted Care Home a year ago.

He worked as a switchman for the telephone company for 37 years. He was a member of the BPOE 1436 of Hollister, SIRS, Bolado Park Golf Club, the Bolado Park Mens Group and a former member of the Hollister Travel Trailer Club. He was an avid golfer and fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors and traveling during his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Bryan; son Dennis Bryan; and brother Floyd Bryan.

He is survived by his niece Janet Heck, of Gilroy and Joan Crother of Paso Robles; and many other nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and a great grand nephew.

As per his wishes, arrangements have been made for private cremation and inurement through Grunnagle Ament Nelson Crematory, 870 San Benito St. Memorials may be directed to the donors favorite charity.
