Bob was born in Elmore Ohio. He completed Flight training in Pensacola Florida and served for 8 years as a pilot in the US. Coast Guard. He was stationed in the U.S. and Italy. In 1967 he joined Pan American World Airways. In retirement he enjoyed time with his friends and family. He stayed busy playing golf, traveling and building radio controlled airplanes.
He is survived by his wife Gysella of 48 years, daughter and son in law Daniele and Rob Conlan, Grandchildren Jakob, Emily, and Alyson. He is also survived by his bother Bill (Ellie) Rich and Sister Betsy Albert.
A celebration of his life will be held in the future.
