Rubie passed away in Hollister at 88, a resident of San Benito County for nearly 75 years, and member of the Hollister United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
Always devoted to her family. She is loved and missed by all who knew her.
Survived by her children Roger Blakeway(Diane) and Jeanette Somavia(Joseph); grandchildren Scott Blakeway, Brian Blakeway, Eric Blakeway, Danny Somavia, Jessica Blakeway and Alyssa Somavia; great-grandchildren Lissette LeBarre and Austin Somavia, and cousin Leona Valdez.
Predeceased by her parents Lillie and Walter Hunter, sisters Beulah Cantrell and Mable O’Farrel, son Dennis Blakeway and granddaughter Brenda Blakeway LeBarre.
