The San Benito County Sheriff’s Office Graffiti Abatement program wants to get the word out on the services it provides in removing unsightly graffiti in the area.
Undersheriff Patrick Turturici in a press statement released Monday said the office “proactively removes graffiti in locations of high visibility, while relying primarily on tips and reports from the public.”
Turturici also stated he would “like to encourage citizens in our community to participate in this program by contacting the Sheriff’s Office when encountering graffiti in their neighborhoods.”
The sheriff’s office has operated this program for two years, using free inmate labor and donated paint.
To report graffiti to be removed in San Benito County, please call the Turturici at the sheriff’s office 636-4080.
