A man suspected of burglarizing Hollister’s Radio Shack of more than $500 in surveillance equipment left himself open for being photographed by the store’s own security camera.
Police are looking for a man caught on Radio Shack’s surveillance camera who is suspected of walking into the store a week ago at about 6:30 p.m., grabbing several items and running out of the business at 491 Tres Pinos Road, according to a statement from Hollister police.
Police reported that store employees chased the adult Hispanic man and observed him getting into a car driven by a Hispanic woman. Witnesses described the car as a “beat up” Pontiac that was brown, according to police.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a tattoo on his right arm. He was wearing a dark-colored jersey with “Los Angeles” written on it.
Police have released the surveillance photo and are asking for help in identifying the suspect.
