 Susan Lee (Popma) Ogard was born April 10, 1945, in San Jose, CA and passed away on April 26, 2014, in Merced, CA.
 Sue attended Morgan Hill schools, Live Oak High School where she graduated in 1963, and nursing school in San Jose. She resided in both San Luis Obispo and Davis before moving to Visalia in 1976.
 In 1999 she moved to Merced, where she conducted her work as a clinical therapist and in management for both Tulare and Merced County Mental Health.
 After retiring in 2008, she spent her time enjoying her family, friends and hobbies. She was an avid quilter, a voracious reader and an amazing cook.
 Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mabel (Evans) Popma; and older brother, Jim Popma.
She is survived by her daughters, Kaary Ogard (partner Kim Wagaman), Kristi (Matt) Petrinovich; grandchildren, Abe and Ella Petrinovich; brother, Don (Georgette) Popma and sister-in-law, Debbie Popma.
