Susanne LaFleur HarbutteSusanne LaFleur Harbutte, 60, surrounded by her loving family in Gilroy, passed away January 25, 2012, from cancer. A cherished kindergarten teacher for 34 years in the Morgan Hill Unified School District, Susanne was a passionate Master Teacher whose compassion and dedication changed so many children’s lives.
A California girl, she loved horses, drinking tea and reading, her garden and her family. Susanne’s spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family, students, colleagues and community. She is survived by Jeff, her loving husband of 27 years, daughters Julie and Tracy, brothers James and Thomas LaFleur, and sister Mary Jeanne LaFleur-Young. Her parents Margaret and Ralph LaFleur and her brother Daniel predeceased Susanne.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at 5:00 P.M. at Johnson Funeral Home located at 17720 Monterey St. in Morgan Hill.
