Purple Cross is on Bolsa Road.

The sheriff’s office reported that the Purple Cross Rx medical marijuana dispensary was robbed Sunday night.
Deputies responded to a call of a possible armed robbery in progress shortly before 8 p.m. at the 1980 Bolsa Road location.
Employees of the San Benito County pot dispensary reported that a subject in a black ski mask approached the front door with a handgun in his hand. One employee reported witnessing this while watching the front door and then yelling to another worker who had been putting away merchandise. Both employees ran out the back doors as the suspect kicked in the front door, according to the sheriff’s office.
One worker reported seeing the suspect get into a “smaller compact” car with two to three other people. The car turned north on Bolsa Road toward Highway 156, according to the sheriff’s office statement.
There was an undisclosed amount of money and undisclosed amount of medical marijuana taken from the dispensary.
