Teresa, also known as, Terry, at the age of 94, entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2011, at Life Care Center of Nevada with her loving son and daughter at her side.

She was born in Providence, RI on March 3, 1917. She was the daughter of the late Angelo DeBartolo and Immaculata (Grocci) Leguori DeBartolo.

Terry’s passing has left a big void in many hearts. She was a very caring, loving heart who put everyone above herself, especially her children. Terry enjoyed being a waitress at the Bridgeport Flyer Diner in Conn. For 25 years, and made many friends while there.

Terry, with husband, Ernie, had many fun-filled years together in retirement in Hollister, CA. They were very active members in DESA (Destroyer-Escorts Sailors Association), Kiwanis, VFW Auxiliary were they were life members. Terry was also involved in the California Foster Grandparent Program at San Benito School, San Juan School and Spring Grove School in Hollister, CA. Terry enjoyed, for many years, working with handicapped or special need children. Terry was Queen for 1 year at T.O.P.S. for achieving the most weight loss of 85 lbs.

Terry was preceded in death by her mother and father, her three brothers, James, Michael and Joseph DeBartolo, her two sisters, France Castranova and Mary Vesella, her husband, Ernie Zimany, as well as her first husband, Robert E. Cochrane, Sr. and her son, John (Jack) Cochrane of Reno, NV, Hollister and Alameda, CA.

Terry is survived by her son, Robert Cochrane Jr. of Reno, NV. and daughter Florence Olszewski of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

There will be no service in Nevada. Teresa will be inurned with her mother in Cranston, RI.
