The Baler girls water polo team lost a tough match 8-7 against
Santa Catalina in the second round of the Tri-County Athletic
League tournament in Santa Catalina Thursday.
San Benito was ahead 5-3 at one point before Santa Catalina came
back to win the see-saw game.
The Baler girls water polo team lost a tough match 8-7 against Santa Catalina in the second round of the Tri-County Athletic League tournament in Santa Catalina Thursday.

San Benito was ahead 5-3 at one point before Santa Catalina came back to win the see-saw game.

With about 10 seconds to go in the game, Kathryn Adamek had a great chance to score to tie the score, but her shot was saved by the goalie.

San Benito will play Monterey Saturday at noon to determine third place in the league. Live Oak and Santa Catalina will play for the championship.
