Tranquiliana Miranda, 89, of Greenfield, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2009 at the Mee Memorial Hospital in King City, CA.

Tranquiliana was born on July 6, 1920 in Mexico.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Trinity Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Santiago Miranda; daughter, Carol Antonia Carker; son, Valentine Miranda; and son-in-law, John D. Arballo.

She was survived by sons, Santiago (Pat) Miranda, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA, Albert (Kim) Miranda of Hopewell, WV, daughters, Theresa de Jesus Arballo of Hollister, CA, Connie Amada (David) Sainz of Salinas, CA, Sofia (Louis) Diaz of Germany, Frances Montejano of Greenfield, CA, brothers, Porfy (Grace) Fuentes of Los Angeles, CA, sisters, Linda Fuentes of Victorville, Lisa Salam of Long Beach, CA; 25 grandchildren, Roman Miranda, Renee Miranda, Andie Miranda, Mark Miranda, Cindy Miranda, Ronnie Miranda, Val Miranda Jr., Tommie Zuniga, Robert Renteria III, Patricia Reed, Michael Renteria, Theresa Rios, John P. Arballo, Adrian Arballo, Cassandra Arballo, Christian Arballo, David Sainz, Christina Danette Sainz, Seagram Amber Salas, Louis Diaz Jr., Roland Diaz, Christina Diaz Pitsnoggle, Jeanette Miranda, Jackie Miranda, Michael Miranda; 47 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 from 1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. at the Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 West San Luis Street, Salinas, CA 93901.

Rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at the Struve and Laporte Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at the Holy Trinity Church, 801 Elm Avenue, Greenfield, CA 93927.
