Valance John Taylor September 1, 1939 – July 29, 2014

 Fallon, NV- Valance Taylor, 74, passed away on July 29, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
 He is survived by his son Mark Sexton: sister Elva Johnson, of Fallon, NV: brothers Eugene Taylor of Fernley, NV: Jere Taylor of South Dakota: and two sisters-in-law, Barbara and Carol Taylor.
 He was born in King City, CA to Eugene and Dorothy Taylor. Valance was raised in San Benito County, he attended Hollister High School.
 After High School, he remained in Hollister working in farming and ranching, he loved working outdoors, fishing and enjoyed watching nature programs. In 2005 he moved to Fallon, NV.
